FAQs

Am I ready for therapy?

That depends on you. Psychotherapy can improve your life and at best, it is life changing and transformative. However, it is often our willingness to change that dictates if you can receive its benefits. Therapy often involves introspection which may be difficult in the short-term. It is up to you to decide if the long-term benefits can outweigh any temporary discomfort.  Sometimes, you just have to try therapy out to see if the journey feels right to you.

Do you take insurance?

Yes, I take insurance plans including Premera, Regence, First Choice, and Kaiser PPO. You can pay your co-pay or co-insurance in my office on the day of your session. If your insurance carrier is not listed on here, then please feel free to contact me to how to discuss.

Are you willing to meet on nights or weekends?

Yes, I realize that many of us have work schedules, children, loved ones and other commitments that make meeting during conventional business hours difficult. As such, I am occasionally able to meet on weeknights or weekends when possible.
